You've tried the best bet with your current installation. Sadly, I went from being thrilled to dismayed once again.Īlba_Male wrote:Hi Ken and thank you for your welcome to the forum. My PC has 8GB RAM and 1TB HDD and I've had no problems with PSP 6 or PSP X3. Once again I could only close the program with Task Manager. While it was frozen the Task manager registered ' very high' power usage. Nothing in the program would respond to mouse clicks. However, when I then clicked on another folder in the C drive, the program froze once again. I also made changes to images in a sub-folder without any problems. I then began to browse through folders on my 'C' drive to look at photos and adjusted a couple of images in a particular folder. All this time I checked the Task manager and saw that it was recording 'low usage' for power. Initially it seemed to have worked as I could open the program and move from Welcome to manage to Edit.

I did as you suggested and held the Shift key as I clicked on the PSP icon and I was indeed given the option of a reset which I did. Peace of mind as far as that's concerned. Thank you too for the info regarding the two desktop icons.

Hi Ken and thank you for your welcome to the forum. TM also says that there is very high power usage for the program. Big mistake! Now the program simply freezes every time I try to use it and I can only close it with Task Manager. Before it froze I went to ‘Preferences’ and made the 'Manage' page the default opening page. On one of my attempts to use the program I was able to open the Welcome page and click on ‘Edit'. One is for Paintshop Pro 2019 (64bit) and the second is just Paintshop Pro 2019. (Before purchasing the full version I uninstalled the trial version.)įollowing the download of the program I noticed that two shortcuts had been created on the desktop. Prior to purchasing the Full Version program today, I had downloaded the 'Trial Version' and I had no problems with this. (The Task manager indicates that the program is using 'very high' power consumption.) I've tried numerous times to open the program without success. I then opened the program to the 'Welcome' page but when I tried to navigate to the 'Manage' page the program froze and I had to shut it down using the Task manager. This morning (23rd November, 2018) I purchased the 'Paint Shop Pro 2019 Ultimate' program online from the Corel website and followed the download instructions.
